As part of the Co-operation Agreement, Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru have recently announced the rollout plan to be allow all primary school children to have a free school meal by September 2024.
To help us plan ahead and make sure that every child who would like a free school meal can receive one, we would be grateful if you could circulate a survey to all parents/ guardians via your usual communication channels. This will allow us to fully assess need and how DCC progress with the rollout as well as identifying specific dietary need by school.
I have attached bilingual wording in the document with a link to the survey, please can you use this text when sending the survey out to ensure that we are providing a consistent message to all.
