Gweithdai am ddim Ukulele / Free Ukulele Workshops for KS2 pupils

Oherwydd argaeledd y tiwtor yn y gwersi ukulele, bu rhaid symud gwers wythnos nesaf o Ddydd Iau i Ddydd Mercher y 26ain o Hydref. Mae’r amseroedd yn parhau fel yr arfer. Llawer o ddiolch am eich cydweithrediad a’ch deallusrwydd.
Due to the ukulele tutors availability, we will have to move the lesson next week from Thursday to Wednesday the 26th of October. The usual times still apply. Many thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

Rydym wedi derbyn cynnig arbennig gan Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych i gynnal gyfres o weithdai ukulele i rhai o ddisgyblion Adran Iau yr ysgol.

Mae cyfle i 10 o ddisgyblion i gymryd rhan mewn gyfres o 6 weithdy ukulele fydd yn dechrau dydd Iau yma, Medi 29ain (3.30-4.45pm) yn neuadd Ysgol y Llys. Byddent yn cael eu cynnal yn wythnosol bob dydd Iau (yr un lleoliad ac amser).

O ran tecwch ynglyn a’r broses cofrestru, bydd linc Google Forms yn mynd allan hwyrach heno i rieni a byddwn yn dewis y 10 cyntaf o enwau.
Pwysig- os rydych yn digon ffodus i gael eich dewis- mae rhaid ymrwymo i’r chwe sesiwn bob dydd Iau. Disgwyliwn y bydd rhieni ar gael i nol eu plant o’r ysgol yn dilyn bob sesiwn am 4.45pm. Byddwn yn adolygu effeithiolrwydd y gweithdai ac os ydynt yn llwyddiannus, yna byddwn yn ystyried fel ysgol cynnal mwy o sesiynau.

Caiff y gweithdai eu cynnal ar y dyddiadau canlynol –

  • Medi 29ain, Hydref 6,13,20, 27 a Thachwedd 10fed.

Byddwn yn hysbysu’r rhai sy’n llwyddiannus wrth gael llefydd yfory drwy ebost. Yn anffodus, ni fyddwn yn hysbysu’r rhai na fydd yn llwyddiannus o ganlyniad i’r diddordeb ddisgwyliedig yn y prosiect/gweithdai.

This morning, we have received an offer by Menter Iaith Sir Ddinbych to host free Ukulele Workshops for a period of six weeks. The sessions are grant funded, so no charge to pupils, and will be held on Thursdays at Ysgol y Llys (school hall) from this Thursday, Sep 29th onwards. (3.30pm-4.45pm). Parents to pick pupils up from Ysgol y Llys at 4.45pm prompt please.

In terms of equity, the process of selecting 10 pupils will be through a first come, first serve via google form booking. This opportunity is available to all KS2 pupils. (from Years 3,4,5,6)

We will review the progress and feedback of the course with view of potentially offering the same course again in the future.

Please note! The 10 places are expected to be fully committed to the 6 week programme, due to limited spaces and expected interest in the workshops. To confirm, the dates for the workshops are as follows:

  • Sep 29, October 6, 13, 20, 27, November 10th.

Those who are succesful in obtaining places on the course will be notified by email from school tomorrow. Unfortunately, we will not be able to notify those who are not successful due to expected interest.
