What is the purpose of developing Ysgol y Llys as a Forest School?

Ysgol y Llys combines with the philosophy of Forest Schools, which is to encourage and inspire individuals from any department through positive experiences and participation in interesting, motivating and positive activities and tasks in a wooded environment, helping to develop personal, social and emotional skills:

• Increase self-esteem

Children need time to fully explore their ideas, feelings and relationships with others. This develops their understanding of the world, the environment and everything within the environment by using their emotions, imagination and senses.
